AI-DC KOREA ANALYSIS
Interpretation and Verification Points
Official documents highlight a Tier-IV-level redundant power and cooling configuration, outdoor air cooling, separation of office and data center buildings, and a five-tier security system as key features. However, since obtaining Tier-IV “certification” and having a Tier-IV-level facility configuration are not the same, the certification status must be verified separately.
Power supply capacity refers to the range of power designed and contracted to be received from KEPCO; UPS capacity refers to the size of the uninterruptible power supply system; and IT load refers to the power actually allocated to IT equipment. Do not make estimates unless these are distinguished in the published data.
