AI DC KOREA · FAQ

When reviewing a data center, what information should be prepared besides power-related data?

Once you’ve organized the power capacity data, what should you check next?

The introduction to the U.S. DOE FEMP design guide covers IT systems, environmental conditions, air management, cooling and electrical systems, and heat recovery. It can be used as a reference when compiling questions regarding which IT environments and cooling conditions to review, separate from power data.

What if the cooling method or IT environment hasn’t been determined yet?

To prepare for the consultation, try categorizing the information into “Confirmed Data / Conditions Under Review / Items Not Yet Known.” For example, for power data, include the source and verification date; for cooling and environmental conditions, list questions to confirm with the person in charge. This is a suggestion for organizing data and is not a procedure for determining the suitability or efficiency of a specific design.
